The Challenge

QV Prints required more than a traditional printing website. Customers needed to be able to select a product, customize it using their own design, review their personalized product, and complete the purchase online.

The main challenge was connecting the product customization system, website, eCommerce functionality, API, pricing, cart, checkout, and payment process into one seamless workflow.

The solution also needed to make a technically complex customization process simple enough for customers without requiring advanced design or technical knowledge.

The Solution

I developed a customized eCommerce workflow that integrates the product personalization system through a powerful API.

Customers can select a product, customize it with their own design, preview their personalized product, and proceed through the shopping and payment process without leaving the overall website experience.

The API integration acts as the bridge between the website and the customization functionality, allowing product information and customer design selections to work together throughout the purchasing process.

This creates a much more interactive and personalized purchasing experience than a conventional printing store.
